New Year Countdown External app

About New Year Countdown

New Year Countdown lives on its own page at new-year.fakcloud.tech. It is a lightweight, JavaScript-driven countdown — just open it and the timer starts running immediately, no setup or account needed.

New Year Countdown is a single-purpose page from the FAK LABS ecosystem that counts down to the upcoming New Year. The page renders a live timer that updates every second, so visitors can keep it open on a second screen or project it at a New Year's Eve gathering. Like the rest of the FAK LABS web apps, it is free to use and requires no sign-up.

How to use New Year Countdown

1. Open the app: click the "Open" button above — the countdown page opens in a new tab at new-year.fakcloud.tech.
2. Watch it run: the timer starts automatically and ticks down in real time; there is nothing to configure.
3. Keep it visible: leave the tab open or cast it to a TV or projector during a New Year's Eve party.
4. Return anytime: the countdown always targets the upcoming New Year, so the same link works year after year.

Use cases

A dedicated countdown page is useful in more places than a phone clock:

• New Year's Eve parties: put the live countdown on a big screen so the whole room counts down together.
• Classrooms and offices: a simple, distraction-free visual timer for the last minutes of the year.
• Stream overlays: creators can capture the page in OBS as a clean countdown source for year-end streams.
