How to Use the Ping Tool

  1. Enter a domain name (e.g., google.com) or IP address in the input field.
  2. Click the "Ping" button to start the connectivity test.
  3. Wait for the tool to send multiple ping requests to the target host.
  4. Review the results showing individual ping latencies and overall statistics.
  5. Check the summary for packets sent, received, lost, and average latency.

Technical Overview & Use Cases

The Ping Tool sends HTTP-based requests via Cloudflare Workers to measure round-trip time (RTT) to any host. It simulates ICMP ping behavior through web-compatible protocols, providing latency measurements, packet loss statistics, and connectivity diagnostics — all from your browser.

Privacy & Security Guarantee

This tool is part of the FAK LAB ecosystem, founded by Faizan Ahmad Khan Khichi. Your ping requests are processed through secure Cloudflare Workers — no data is stored, logged, or shared. The tool operates 100% client-side for the UI, ensuring your browsing activity remains completely private and secure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a real ICMP ping?

Browsers cannot send ICMP packets directly. This tool uses HTTP-based probing via Cloudflare Workers to simulate ping behavior and accurately measure host reachability and latency.

Why do some hosts show high latency?

Latency depends on geographic distance, network congestion, and server load. The results represent the round-trip time from the Cloudflare edge network to the target host.

Can I ping any IP address or domain?

Yes, you can ping any publicly accessible domain or IP address. Internal/private IPs (like 192.168.x.x) are not reachable from the internet and will show as failed.
