How to Use the Prayer Times Tool

  1. Enter a city name (e.g., Mecca, Dubai, London) in the search field and click "Search".
  2. Alternatively, click "Use My Location" to automatically detect your coordinates via GPS.
  3. View today's prayer times including Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
  4. Check whether each prayer is upcoming or already completed based on your current time.
  5. The Hijri date and Gregorian date are displayed alongside the location name.

Technical Overview & Use Cases

This tool uses the Aladhan Prayer Times API combined with Open-Meteo Geocoding to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times based on the Muslim World League method. It converts city names to coordinates and fetches real-time prayer schedules including Hijri calendar dates.
