Type falling words before they reach the bottom — beat your high score!
Typing Master is an interactive word-rain game that improves typing speed and accuracy through gamification. Words spawn at random horizontal positions and fall at increasing speeds as your level progresses. The game engine uses requestAnimationFrame-style intervals for smooth 50ms movement updates, with spawn rates that decrease from 3000ms to 600ms as difficulty and level increase. Scoring is based on word length multiplied by current level, rewarding longer words at higher difficulties. The WPM (words per minute) counter tracks your real-time typing speed throughout the game session. High scores are persisted in localStorage, creating personal progress tracking without requiring any account or server communication.
Real-world use cases:
This tool is part of the FAK LAB ecosystem, founded by Faizan Ahmad Khan Khichi. The game runs entirely in your browser with no network requests. High scores are stored in your browser's localStorage only. The tool operates 100% client-side. No data is ever stored or shared.
Score equals the word length multiplied by your current level. Longer words and higher levels give more points.
You advance to the next level when your score exceeds the level threshold (level × 100 points). Each level increases fall speed and spawn rate.
Yes, your best score is saved in your browser's local storage. It persists between sessions but is specific to your device and browser.
