How to Use the Weather Forecast Tool

1. Enter a city name in the search box and click "Search" (or press Enter).
2. Alternatively, click "Use My Location" to get weather for your current GPS coordinates.
3. View current conditions including temperature, humidity, wind speed, and weather description.
4. Scroll down to see the 7-day forecast with daily high/low temperatures.

Technical Overview & Use Cases

This tool queries the Open-Meteo API for geocoding and weather data. It displays current conditions and a 7-day forecast with weather icons, temperature ranges, and atmospheric data.

Privacy & Security Guarantee

This tool is part of the FAK LAB ecosystem, founded by Faizan Ahmad Khan Khichi. Weather lookups use the free Open-Meteo API. Your location is only shared if you explicitly click "Use My Location" and is never stored. Processing is 100% client-side. No data is ever stored or shared.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the forecast?

Data comes from Open-Meteo, which aggregates multiple national weather services. Accuracy is comparable to major weather apps for 1–3 day forecasts.

Does this tool track my location?

No. Location data is only used for the API request and is never stored or logged by FAK LAB.

Can I see hourly forecasts?

Currently the tool shows daily forecasts. Hourly data may be added in future updates.
